This beat of the River provides good sea trout fishing and the occasional salmon.  There are eight named pools, between point A – B on plan.  Although there is only single bank fishing, no fishing takes place from the opposite bank.  The River has been lightly fished since 2003 with a result that the records do not reflect the true potential of the beat.

Pallington Lakes is a unique property; there is nowhere else quite like it in the County of Dorset or for many miles around.  The property extends to some 23 acres, set within the valley of the River Frome, and boasts 12.3 acres of spring fed, heavily stocked lakes, with its southern boundary being a stretch of the River Frome itself.
