Substantial investment has taken place in developing the facilities. Woodland View caters for up to 140 match anglers at any one time and it is perhaps as a match venue that the fishery is best known. Woodland View Fishery was voted top fishery by Anglers Mail in 2005, and third best in the Country by Midland Angler.

Alvechurch Fishery has been established for many years and run as a day ticket fishery.  Recently planning permission for a temporary dwelling was obtained which offers a prospective purchaser to live on the fishery and develop the business further.
