Fenn Wright announce new Managing Partner
Fenn Wright are delighted to announce two new senior appointments as Joseph Hall takes on the role of Managing Partner from April 1st and Alan Williams becomes Senior Partner. After more than 35 years in the Commercial Property and Development sectors, former Senior Partner, Roger Hayward, retires from the Partnership and becomes a Consultant.
Since joining Fenn Wright in 2015 to head up the Residential Lettings division, Joseph has played a major role in the development of the brand, successfully building up a substantial lettings portfolio and winning numerous prestigious instructions for the firm.
Joseph commented “Becoming Managing Partner of a firm with a 250-year history is an honour. However, we are very much a modern, forward-thinking business and I look forward to developing our growth strategy to take Fenn Wright to the next stage of its evolution. We know our reputation is our greatest asset and will continue to build on the success our outstanding teams deliver year after year. Together with Alan and the wider team of Partners, we will ensure continuity of the exceptional service, knowledge and value we offer our clients.”
After 16 years as Managing Partner, Alan Williams now takes up the position of Senior Partner. As Head of Residential Agency and with a background in land and new homes, Alan has enjoyed developing Fenn Wright’s residential operation, cementing its reputation as the region’s leading independent property agency.
Alan added “This transition of roles has been planned for a couple of years now and I am delighted that, in Joe, we have a Managing Partner well equipped to handle the challenges and opportunities of the technological revolution. I look forward to focusing on developing our Residential Agency division further, working closely with Joe on the future of this amazing business.”
Roger Hayward joined Fenn Wright in 1990, becoming a Partner in 1992 and was Managing Partner from 1996 to 2004, a period of significant growth and modernisation for Fenn Wright.
A Chartered Surveyor, Roger was elected Senior Partner in 2009 and has overseen Fenn Wright’s Development team, specialising in planning and development matters, land sales, acquisitions, viability assessments, site appraisals and valuation. He played a pivotal role in a broad range of prestigious professional and commercial agency instructions across Essex and Suffolk, including working with private clients to negotiate the £1.5 billion sale of MOD land on the Colchester Garrison site.
