Bainside is an established caravan and camping site set alongside the River Bain. The holiday accommodation has been created around the lake, originally excavated for gravel extraction in the 1980s. The site benefits from two separate entrances giving access to the north end and south end.

Caravan and Camping Pitches
The south end is accessed via an electric barrier on the main drive, set back from the main road. The south end has 5 seasonal pitches, together with 10 touring caravan pitches and 10 pitches allocated for caravan storage. Camping pitches are located in the main field.

The north end has a further 11 seasonal pitches positioned overlooking the lake, with separate access and electric barrier. All seasonal and touring pitches have water and 16amp electricity connection (metered).

There is a separate toilet and shower building and waste disposal facility at both the north and south ends of the site.

Holiday Accommodation
Bainside Holiday Lodge is a two bedroom holiday accommodation unit situated behind the main dwelling. The accommodation comprises living area, kitchen, shower/w.c. and two bedrooms. The unit is of block and timber construction with a bank of 14 solar panels on the roof.

Located on the southern bank, overlooking the lake is a glamping pod extending to approx. 5m x 3m with timber decking and designated fishing peg. There is planning permission for a second glamping pod.

The Fishery
Originally dug for gravel extraction, the lake extends to approximately 1.8 acres (0.7ha) with a maximum fishing depth of 5 feet and 27 pegs. A large central island together with beds of lillies and reeds providing cover for refuge and angling features.

The lake has the benefit of an otter fence around the perimeter and an aerator. The lake is very well stocked with mixed coarse fish species including; Carp (to 30lbs) Bream, Roach, Rudd, Crucian Carp,  Tench, Perch, Chub, Barbel, Ide and F1s .

The property also has the benefit of the Fishing Rights along approximately 300 metres of the River Bain.
